Amex Exploration Inc. (AMXEF), a junior gold mining exploration company, has made a significant gold discovery on its wholly-owned Perron Gold Project in Quebec, Canada. The discovery has sent the company's stock price soaring and has sparked excitement within the mining industry.

The Perron Gold Project is located 110 kilometers north of Matagami, Quebec, and covers an area of approximately 1,849 hectares. Amex Exploration acquired the property in 2018 and has been conducting extensive exploration work since then.

The latest discovery was made at the East Perron Zone, where Amex Exploration intersected high-grade gold mineralization over a significant width. The company has reported assay results of up to 14.05 grams of gold per tonne over 4.6 meters. These results indicate the presence of a potentially large and high-grade gold deposit.

The discovery at the East Perron Zone has significantly enhanced the potential of the Perron Gold Project. Amex Exploration plans to continue exploration work on the property, including drilling, geological mapping, and geophysics. The company is also evaluating the potential for a bulk-tonnage open-pit mining operation at the site.
